Chuhe Ke Haath Haldi Ki Gaanth Kya Lag Gayi Khud Ko Pansari Samajh Baitha...

I saw these comments from Bangladeshi captain.

"Someone asked me whether the World Cup has become stale after the exit of India and Pakistan. But, I think they don't have the right to play in the Super Eights after losing two out of their three first round matches."

Don't try to teach your Grandma to suck eggs...

"If this attitude persists, one should organize 'Top Ranking Cup' instead of the World Cup, where the teams will play according to their rankings. The Cup is not a property of one or two teams. It belongs to everyone and the best team will win the Cup,"

Which attitude is he talking about? If this world cup would have been a 'Top Ranking Cup', I reckon Bangladesh would have barely made it to the WC, if at all it could.

"I think our win against South Africa would silence some of the 'noises' heard after we lost the first two matches of the Super Eights,"

Real class will tell in course of time.

"Instead of spoiling the show, Bangladesh has made the World Cup more interesting. There are plenty of teams now fighting for the semi-finals,"

OK, I agree.

The Bangladeshi coach should prick the ears of his pigs so that they become level headed. Apart from making comments, I didn't see any innings from Mr. Bashar worth mentioning or appreciating.

Say whatever, but it's hard to digest these statements from Bangladeshi captain. If Team India has some ego in some corner these comments are sufficient to resuscitate their passion (if they have any), if not passion for the game at least self respect.

I expect Team India to produce the same results what West Indies had done to India in the Indian tour after WC '83.

Time will tell...I still have fear & doubt about Team India's performance in Bangladesh next month.

My comments:
What to say more, when everyone is defeating my country these days. And some Tom, Dick or Harry comes walking to smear salt over the bruises...
